Poutine 1 lg. or 2 med potatoes/person 1-2 tbsps oil ½-1 tsp salt or seasoning salt
Preheat oven to 450F. Cut potatoes into 1 cm wide sticks (no thicker than your pinkie finger) Stir potatoes, oil and salt in a large bowl until potatoes are completely coated. Gravy 1 ½ cups cold water 2 tsps chicken or beef broth concentrate ¼ cup flour 1 tbsp soya sauce Pinch of pepper
Mix all ingredients COLD in a small saucepan. Make sure no flour clumps remain. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly until bubbled and thickened. Serve over fries and grated cheese.
