Chocolate Chip oatmeal Cookies 

½ cup margarine (1 square)
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ cup oatmeal
½ cup chocolate chips


1 Bowl Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugars with electric mixer until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add egg and beat until well mixed.
  4. Add all dry ingredients on top and mix with a wooden spoon until everything is moistened.
  5. Drop by tablespoons full onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Makes 12 large or 18 medium sized cookies.
  6. If baking 2 pans at once, switch pans at 5 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375F for 10-12 min.
